Yeah, I downloaded it the other day - not had a chance to listen to it yet. I didn't even realise they had any new stuff!

Though we did have a mini-celebration when they reformed. It's always good to see great bands come back, plus Ted Bond has such a distinctive and cool voice it would be a shame for him to not be doing anything.

But they're another band I'll probably never get to see. Damn you, Atlantic Ocean! mad

naw. those are my drums that were given to me last summer. they were old ludwigs, stained blue green.. really ugly. i took all the hardware off and cleaned it and refinished the drums to the yellow floral. got all new heads and cymbals etc... i also bought a reissue of the fender 54 p bass-the pink paisley one & a seafoam green guitar with pearly white pick guard. i had a little jam band with some of my girls back in spokane... we called ourselves the pastells. we all had black hair and wore a lot of black and had these girly pastel colored instruments. it was great. but our drummer got a boyfriend and quit making it to practice. then i moved away, and took all my gear with me (cause i was the one who bought ALL the gear). i sold the guitar to my girl who played guitar in the band... so she has that... but i still have the drums and the bass.. i want to set my drums up in my living room but there's other band equip in there right now & no room for my kit. i'd like to really learn to play more.. but school always interferes with everything like that.

yer welcome on the comment! i liked the set.. i'm a nerd and study all the time when in school so it made me smile. smile are you in the bay area? i'll be in sf the 16-21. wink

That's awesome! Am I a photographer? Yes and no(?) I'm taking a photography course in school this summer, b/c its always been something Ive enjoyed, but I don't think I'm going to pursue it professionally or anything - but it's definetely turning into a more serious hobby =)

LAN = local area network
it's having lots of computers connected to each other, but "locally" as in physically hard-wired instead of over the Net. More detailed than that and you'd need to ask someone much geekier than I.

At the party, it meant having seven people in three rooms and me balancing my monitor on a mini-fridge, since there weren't enough tables. but it was great fun!
