Might have to keep and eye on your primaries. Haven't really been keeping up with it lately. basketry sounds intriguing too, have to show off your work as it comes along man.
You are right about the years it takes for respectable training but even after five weeks I can still hold my own against a guy who has been doing it for 5 years.
It's true I am glad not to be at Uni any more but trust me working for one is worse, there are some right wankers in our student body. Some are trying to give my Dad a right runaround.
It helps with the interview that I also have the backing of the head of school, the previous job holders nomination and the backing of two of the 3 member panel as it is lol. Still can be a bit nervous, don't want to come across as over confident.
Modesty, I like to think I'm modest but it's rare I get accused of it. As you will read in Thursdays blog a lass laid into me about a few things and one of them was that she thinks I believe myself to be some awesome god of men who is always right and smarter than everyone else. I honestly thought that was hilarious, so far from the truth.
That sounds cool stuff man, I think I will have to start adding to my skill sets again soon. Much like you I like havin as many skills as I can. Might try something different this time though.
Ostensibly I am an administrator but I think of myself more as a marketeer, I promote knowledge transfer and create relationships between academia and industry. To say everyone wants to keep me to the point that I am getting secret pointers about the interview from members of staff speaks to my good work. Even though I feel I spend more time reading webcomics and browsing Facebook.
Day's almost over dude, it's 22:30 over here. Just got back from a shite long winded meeting.
I do like suits like that, needs must buy more so I can wear them more often. The pay rise is good, but I'm still not being paid a realistic amount for my skills and abilities, I'm held back by having a shitty degree. But what can you do.
No worries on the comments and stuff, I spend a lot of time on my pc mucking around with photo's and games and such so I check back in fairly regular on here lol. Probably developing an SG addiction, well its better than crack, or World of Warcrack lol.
Good luck with the homework type stuff anyway man, so glad I have gone past that now lol.
It is weird how you get some modules that want the Earth for sod all. My second Tourism module wanted group presentations and such on airlines and it only ended up being useful for one question on the exam paper.
She never even bothered marking the presentations. Which she made mandatory, on my birthday and meaning I had to miss a friends funeral.
Hope work went ok man, you did indeed just miss me, not by much though.
