i should add that since writing this i watched a little CNN special called "god's warriors" and you know what? i think that the chrisitian right is quite possibly worse than al-qaida. they've ensured that we continue to bomb out countries and take lives from others while at the same time decrying doing the same thing if it's a fetus, if it cannot possibly live on its own. anyway, i saw two things that made me very hopeful: a minister who preaches the gospel of preserving and protecting earth as well as one who preaches tolerance from his pulpit in a very logical, well thought out way.
we know that politics and religion don't mix well and the latter pastor says it eloquently and in a deeply thought out, well supported and compassionate way.
it was interesting even as it was disgusting to me on a deeply personal level. bigotry and hatred should never be allowed to come into the flock. the fact that it has shows the depth of the corruption of the christian churches in america by the most twisted evil imaginable.

p.s. Have you read Sidhartha? The way you talk reminds of this book. It's only 150 pages and a lot of people like it. Some people use it in life. You might want to read it, if you haven't.
i have not finished it yet, but i will. i want to go to a river. i mostly just want to relax and find myself right now. i want to hang out with new people that will help me do this. i want to start a whole new life. and i'm pretty sure i started it today. i'm happy about that.
