Drove 1.5 hours today to deliver my ball pythons to a friend. He is "snake sitting" them until I have room for them. (Only have room for the hogs in the new house.)
Somehow I doubt I will get back into ball pythons and I will end up selling them to him honestly.
The market is tanking HARD.
The only way to stay afloat in the ball python market is to drop $100K on the newest morph, breed it to everything you have, flood the market with combos and buy the next new project. I don't have 100K...nor would I drop that much on a ball python knowing how weak they are as a species. (They get sick easily, stop eating on a whim...shit like that)
So I will stick with my hognose snakes.
It was weird putting my ball python collection in a box and literally handing that dream off to another person.
Just another thing I tried to do with all my guster and failed.
But it's ok. I really did try...hard...and I learned what mistakes NOT to make...
I won't make those same mistakes with my hogs.
