The operative word here is he. He has no ability to comprehend that the past acurately indicates the future. His past and present are littered with his own ignorance. He cannot grasp the correlation because that is the way it has always been for him. Once he realizes his ignorance, he may then realize that the past is indicative of the future.

Let's teach him and call him Sweetie all the while. Yes, I realize he has no capacity for learning but we can try. It'll be fun.

I like boys. I really do. Some can call me sweetie but only when I allow it. Where I live, they are all patronizing and condescending. Not all ... most.

So things went ok, I think. I was super nervous during the interview, but two members of the hiring committee (there were 7 people interviewing me) told me later that I did a really good job. I won't find out til late fall/early winter if I have an offer, though.

And my client ended up pleaing (he would have been stupid if he didn't, honestly) so I didn't get to argue my brilliant motion. I did get to do the plea work (which had some unexpected loops when the judge didn't initially accept it), but later HE told me a did a good job too. So to have two senior lawyers and a district court judge compliment me...not too bad.

I suck at getting back, this was a hard week. But I am still availiable for dinner tomorrow...and I have been known to get a beer or two at the 500 club on a Monday night as well!!!

That's not the kind of thing I walk around telling people, even if I believed it to be true. I did go to art school and do list myself as an illustrator/animator/artist (sort of) in a few places. Truth be told, I don't really do it for a job, so I sometimes forget about it.
There's a whole website out there, too, which hasn't been updated in forever, but I do still list in a few places.
-So maybe you just weren't looking hard enough, eh? Or maybe I impressed you with my awesomeness without even needing to have my profile quickly scanned. That makes me sound cooler, I like that one.
