squidbizkit:
An ant crawls across the pavement completely unaware that a boy is examining it through a magnifying glass.

How could this ant's tiny brain be aware of the life of a boy and the wonders of civilization?

The boy, of course, suffers from no such difficulties.

subrosa:
But... but...

You're allergic to cats. frown
squidbizkit:
a centipede was stomping along very happy, when a toad walked up to him in jest and said "Which leg goes after which". This worked his mind into such a pitch that he lay distracted in a ditch considering how it is he can run.
datsun:
you'll be okay with the run. I ran the Bay to Breakers with no training (and very little sleep) and it didn't kill me or knock me out or anything. It's only 10K (7.6 miles), but if I can do it with zero training (and I'm a big girl), I'm sure you can do this as part of your training regimen.
chimay:
Just reading that is giving me teh shin splints.

phatduckk:

I did the Honolulu marathon in December and was terrified but it's amazing what your body can do when determined. Good luck and have fun!
misstyrios:
I am lucky if I can run 1.5 miles without stopping - I have all the admiration in the world for you to run 14 miles. Dang.
kittymalarchy:
