not updated for a while cos nothing much has happened. but heres what has.

Recent gigs:

Wasp in London. (reliving my youth tongue ) great show
Motorhead / Clutch / Crucified Barbara in Bristol. Went mainly to see Clutch (& cos I haven't seen Motorhead since 89?) Good but not brilliant.
Tool / Mastodon in Cardiff. Fucking Amazing. Due to the wrong time being printed on the ticket, I missed all but 2 songs of Mastodon frown . Tool more than made up for it though. (but they really should play Prison Sex & Sober again)
Off to see Iron Maiden in Cardiff on monday biggrin biggrin They're still one of the best live bands around.

Good Things

Wagamama have opened a restraunt opposite the shop. Loads of noodley goodness for me from now on biggrin

Bristol Rovers finally go on a winning streak. just 2 defeats in the last 12 games & won 6 in row.

Bad Things

I've been suffering from an evil cold the last 2 weeks & I'm seriously pissed of with it now frown

Too much rainy & windy weather to do any decent mountain biking. All the trails are under water frown

Celebrity Customer News

Anthony Head (Giles from Buffy) came in this morning. I know he lives fairly locally but it's the first time he's been in the shop.

The thought of job satisfaction but less money is actually quite an appealing thought to me at the moment...

I'm gutted I missed Clutch, but I've never been a big Motorhead fan, so I'm sure I'll get to see them again soon.

I think I need some form of hobby or suchlike to get me out and feeling better, but everything is just that bit expensive to set up, I think I shall look into it after Christmas. Oh, did you go on the real ale wobble a couple of weeks ago? My housemate went (He's a touring cyclist as opposed to a mountain biker) and said that he really enjoyed his first mountain biking event, and was proud that he didn't fall off or smack anything once! biggrin
