Costa Rica is awesome! I lived in a small town called Tamarindo for four months.

I just got back from San Jose. It isn't anywhere near a beach, though. I've heard through many of my surfer friends that the west coast of CR is fantastic and the people are really friendly. What I saw of San Jose was relatively depressed and not exactly what I would call "safe".


Happy belated birthday, by the way...how is it I've met so many people who share my birthday??? It is a little freaky.
