We adopted him this past weekend. He's been pure joy!
After Paris and Roro left our lives it was time to add a new furbaby companion. We have been going to adoption events for the last two months to find the perfect fit in our lives.
They brought the dogs in and Batman ran to my daughter first in a room full of people. He jumped into her lap with a mission kisses. I saw how she lit up bright and it was love at first site.
We filled out the paperwork and it was like a match made in heaven because Arya loves Batman, his name was perfect.
I dropped her off at her dad's after and told her that we were not guaranteed the dog. That the rescue takes the applications and then makes the best fit for the dog and like the last two times we didn't get pick, we keep on trying until the perfect fit for our house is chosen.
2 hours later I got the call "Your daughter was the perfect pick for him and he picked her! Come get your dog!"
I rushed over to pick him up and drove right to my ex-husbands house. Arya opened the door and cried happy tears! I TOLD YOU DAD!!!!!!!!!!!! HE WAS GOING TO BE MY PUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This week they have been like peas and carrots. Follow each other everywhere and just fell in love.
Best Friends Forever. Our family is complete.
