Oooh, I see you are working on a film! Can I beg for details?
As for the movie thing, regardless of the friends situation... I haven't seen Ladykillers, but Jersey Girl definitely isn't worth a full-price ticket. Wait for the dollar theatre. There are moments of snappy dialogue as can be expected from Kevin Smith, but the plot is really tired, terribly cheesy, and most of the characters aren't dimensional enough to make an overused, predictable plot excusable.
I've never heard A&P, but I'll certainly check into it.
As for Jersey Girl, exactly. First half of the movie was pretty enjoyable, but Ben Affleck's "torn between spoiled big city life and the wholesome family atmosphere of my rural hometown" dilemna and the scenes of him racing back to make it to "what really matters" on time just killed me.
i feel that way lots, but know theres no pill to cure it hehe. hmm.
id have to say ladykillers?
sorry i dont care how good some say it is ... id have to avoid paying so much to see a movie id have so little interest in (on the other hand ladykillers sounds cool and ive never heard of it )
about ladykillers. yeha NOW i remember it. yeah they can pull off anything. but what to do for sequels eh
hmm yeah figures about jersey girl. dumbshits
hehe. looked like itd be one of those films that was good at the beginning then just steadily declined (jlo dies though hey always a plus!)
