Hey, just wanted to let you know, great post in the politics section, really well thought out and well written. While I don't necessarily agree with everything you put in there, it's nice to see someone on the pro-life side write an intelligent argument without invoking religion. Thanks for starting an interesting discussion.
That is a shame. I had read through about 4 and a half pages of it and it was still a great discussion. Such is life on the internet, I suppose. It's now only a matter of time before Hitler appears in the thread somewhere.
hey. I didn't read your entire post on being liberal and pro-life because i need to go home and sleep, however I just wanted to say i'm with you in this minority. I do not believe in abortion unless the woman was raped or there are health reasons that she should not have a child. Yet otherwise I'm a pretty strong liberal politically.
Kudos to you. I'm more-or-less the hated "middle of the road", but I am both anti-capital-punishment and anti-abortion. I just don't want to be in the postion of deciding anyone's right to live, either at the beginning or the end. If push came to shove, I guess I'm more anti-capital-punishment than anti-abortion, but at least I can claim I'm fairly consistent.
