i was at an 'obama call party' here, and the older crowd
was shocked to learn that people my age (20-21) are so
shallow as to let this whole election be divided by two issues:
race, and religion.

he'll be assassinated so theyre going to vote for mccain
INSTEAD - even if they 'hate to do it'! im shocked.
i really don't understand the irrational fear from the right. (and I'm part of the moderate right) I may not prefer the policies he wants to instill, but I'm not afraid of him becoming president. I really just don't get it.
I hope you're right and that Palin gets impeached as governor too.
I know a lot of the right is still claiming Obama is a Muslim, but I mentioned that to my 75 year old grandmother (a life-long, hardcore republican and Catholic) and she snapped "Those people don't know what they're talking about! He's a Christian and I believe it!" I think she's secretly planning to vote for Obama but just won't admit it.
