Apart from a bad haircut this morning (too short!) I've had a thoroughly nice day!
Went into London and met up with a couple of friends (old work colleagues). We went for Dim Sum at Royal China on Queensway (recommended). After we walked through Kensington gardens to the Natural History Museum coz we had tickets to the Darwin exhibit. We were there for over two hours. There's a lot to take in, but it's poorly lit, and not sure it was worth the cost (8.50). I think someone who's new to evolutionary theory would get more out of it. As an entomologist/scientist, I took some pedantic satisfaction in noting a couple of spelling mistakes! After that we wandered down to a nice patisserie near South Ken tube for some tea and cake!
More woodland surveys tomorrow. Hoping the weather's not too bad.
