i wish my allergies would settle down... we have rain forcast for the next few days s i can only hope!
Sounds like life is goibg to be "interesting" for a while for you? Hope it all ends up ok... i like to think change is always good in the long run but it can be painful gettig there sometimes? But hopefully not as painful as those purple toes sound! Ouch!!
I'll have to take some pics of the birds out in our garden and post them, we don't get woodpeckers but we get the odd Goldfinch... and e have a very friendly blackbird I always think it's amazing thath some of those little birds will have been to more far off lands and places and seen more sights that i ever will!
ps... how come i always end up posting after Gyllien LOL
good luck over there
I must admit my interest in foriegn film came from a less intellectual source than an appreciation of Bergman. I heard the siren song of he beautiful Gong Lee and followed it to Asian Cinema, from there I branched out. There were a few years there, during a particularly unoriginal period in Hollywood, I didn't watch American movies.
Don't give up on "Adam's Apples." I think it's fatiguing by design.
So much rain here as well, clouds every night it seems. I haven't seen the moon for weeks.
It sounds like you're dealing with alot of crap. I hope everything works out soon. You've extended me your friendship and support from the day we ran acroos each other on SG. I'm here for you in any way I can.
The weather couldn't be any more erratic, mostly bad. I got caught in a downpour on my way home without an umbrella. Needless to say, I was soaked through and through.
I hope the next time we speak, the news will be better for both of us.
Sorry to hear things have been rough, but... I dunno, there just seems to be a vibrance in your writing that seems to say "Right, I just need to get these things off my chest... now I'm ready to deal with them!"
Despite the negative content, the tone seems more positive, more pragmatic.
Take care man, hope everything works out!
I'm glad you like my art, I got a email from a person who said it's lame that I post up art. ( rolls eyes) I think a blog is for my enjoyment. If you don't like it then don't read it..lol thank you I need a real job
THings are cming along, albeit at a snail's pace. I've got to run. I did post a new blog a few minutes ago. It's one of the most meaningful and emotional posts I've ever done.
I'm glad you were able to vent your frustrations on SG. I've done that more times than I can count. It really does help.
Ya the breaks are really doing well. I got a new cam walker and I am not having any more pain as well! Makes me wonder about the other boot they had me in. MAYBE I will heal even FASTER now!
This morninng one of the breeding pairs of Cardinals was around the feeders,
the male was picking up seeds to give to the female.
Sort of funny to see how the different species come in shifts to eat.
I hope that yer toes get back in sync with your foot.
Thank you for your beautiful words. If I wasn't inspired to post the blog using a positive theme, I wouldn't have posted anything. It was emotional at the time, but nothing like how it hit me later on. It's okay though. I realize how much I needed to express the things I spoke about.
You the bestest!
It has been very very warm, but San Diego is having some serious fire problems!
There is this one home in the middle of all of it that hasnt been touched because the owners put sprinklers all over the property an on the roof for fire proof 20 years ago!
Damn good idea eh?
xo
Ah you are a bird lover too I see :-) I hope your foot is ok and the financial things get resolved swifty so you can get back out there with the birds and relax.
What a nice thing to say. I rarely drink, only because I don't like the taste of alcohol. Lyrical used to make me some alcoholic concoction using mango juice. I couldn't taste the alcohol at all. It was very delicious..
I'm going to my daughter's singing group's semi-annual show this morning. It starts at 11:00am. There's going to be lots of food that the performers will be bringing that will be served after the show. Afterwards, we're going to the cemetery to visit Annettte's gravesite. It's going to be emotional for both Heather and myself I'm sure.
