The scenery is beautiful and peaceful. I don't usually commune with nature. Maybe it's the memories of summer camp. I still remember the time our group got seperated from the others, including the counselors while on a hike. By the time we were reunuited, panic had set in for most of us, since we had run out of water and it was getting dark.
Realistically, I'm sure my indifference to the outdoors isn't about that at all. While I appreciate nature and am in favor of protecting the environment, I'm a city boy through and through. I actually envy people like you who are comfortable by themselves in a quiet setting. Enjoy.
No need to apologize about not having read the first part of the story yet I hope you enjoy it when you do read it.. I know you're a tolerant person, but not everything is for everybody. While chapter one isn't graphic, the theme is obvious. Things get very no-holds barred graphic. Most would label it pornographic, although I'm still not sure what pornography is. To me this story is simply a description of one day of one small aspect of my life, pure and simple.
If you have any reservations about being exposed to the rest of the story, please say so. I won't be offended at all.
I love storms, my grandmother told me that I was like a storm.. lol I don't know really what she met by that . I"m sorry your not feeling well. I hope you get better
Our rainy day turned out fairly nice.
With A. driving the yard tractor and stacking the cordwood;
doing a good job for 11. I was able to get a good jump on
the downed branches.
Shame about the allergies, I'm dreading the Pine Pollen
clouds that are coming. Have you tried to breath through
your ears?
My doff my cap to you, sir, and celebrate your courage. From everything I've heard, it's a brave soul who watches Bride Wars. The fact of it makes your kind words even kinder.
I'm sorry to hear about your allergies. but hope they don't prevent your enjoyment of the trek. I'm a city boy, but a train journey into the countryside can be the perfect tonic to the troubles of the metropolis. I would love to see photos!
You're very gracious to say the things you said in your latest comments.
You're right. Even though I still get into a funk sometimes, It's not as severe or lasts as long as in the recent past. Although I'm doing some constructive things in order to help myself ease out of the mess I'm in, I need to see some positive results very soon. It's very tiring to always feel like I'm in a race against time.
I'm so glad you liked the story. While I have no reservations about what I'm into, I still consider it somewhat of a risk to put that particular part of my life out there for others to see. While I can think of certain friends who I know would welcome a story like this, there are others, yourself included, that I feel I'm taking a risk by putting something so personal out there. I obviously trust you, or I never would have shared that part of my life with you.
I reread each part before I sent them to you. I couldn't help getting excited as I relived the things I wrote about in my mind. I don't know if you realize it, but being in a fairly long term relationship of that type makes for an especially close emotional bond with that person. In my opinion, that specific type of intimacy can be as strong a anything one can imagine.
I saw your comment on KING_'s page. I think she's terrific. Who knows. Maybe we can all get together one day and shoot the breeze.
i know what you mean about the pollen... my pollen allergie have been getting worse over thet last few years and this years been rubbish! Next year i've decided i'm juts not going to put up with it!
Hope you had a nice walk, it sounds like it's really nice round where you are!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I might need to read that book as well.
Are you a fan of foreign film in general or just Scandanavian Cinema? I caught a Danish film called "Adam's Apples" the other day, and I would like to hear someone else's opinion of it. I was a little thrown.
