Well I hope you get better, it sounds like you have what my daughter and I have. I'm better and she's still a little sick. I love birds, My daughter and I always go to the lake near my house and feed the birds and ducks, Though one time when she was very young and we were sitting by the water. A gang of ducks came up. My daughter was a little weary of them and she was sitting on my lap and I told her they wouldn't hurt her. But the leader of the duck gang bit her twice in the leg and ran off... damn duck made a lier out of me.... lol it's kinda funny now though

you know though I'm strong I'm part American Indian and Viking ( though I wish I had the height ) I will be fine

Feel better my friend! I am bed ridden today. My leg is swollen and angry so I am chillin in my bed on the internet with a friend in Germany (military) who is sick. He is the sweetest ever...so I have great conversation... even if I am all hopped up on vicodn! lol

Just do one thing today.. and that will make your spirit feel better and than hopefully the rest will follow!

Having just re-read Cormac McCarthy's The Road, I have a renewed appreciation for those little things, especially in times of adversity, that mark one out as 'one of the good guys'. But I do hope you start to feel better

i have faith in the people involved, and test screenings have remarked on the faithfullness of it. the only trivialisation is that the cause of the armeggedon is made known, and as far as i know, they go with nuclear..

Got to keep the Birds fed, who knows when they might
be dinner on the wing. It is amazeing how fast they go through
a Bag of seed. Of course the Squirrels and Chipmonks
manage to waste most it even in the Squirrel-proof feeders.
Speedy recovery.

I wish I could get even the odd squirrel to take from our bird feeders! They've been hanging there for ages now, and not a single bird has been near. They're in the right place, highly visible, well out of cat reach, not too near the house. Not a dicky bird.....apart from a pair of blackbirds, and they take the worms from the lawn, and eventually the crabapples come autumn. So much for having a wildlife garden. At least the tadpoles look happy, and the nettles and buddleia are there for the butterflies. I know - patience is the key.

So glad you're feeling better. You're right. I am feeling better lately.

I'm planning to finish my story and PM it to the friend I sent the first part to. Another friend I spoke to on the phone the other day said she would like to read it. I'm going to find out if a PM can be forwarded to another SG member. If it's possible, I'd have it forwarded to you as well.
