I know where your comments are coming from, so there will be no flack. You're right about most of the things you said, especially about my so-called friends. The people I consider real friends are all one SG these days. It's funny but another SG member was also saying recently that her real friends were here, as opposed to everyday life. So at least I know I'm not alone in the way I feel.
One of the things that I'm unrealistically hanging on to is the notion that I can somehow continue to live in the same area where I am now. I live in probably the best area in Queens, right next to the Nassau County border. I've lived in this neighborhood for about 30 years. That's why I agrred to pay such high rent when I moved in to my current apartment about 20 months ago. Maintaining residence in this neighborhood was a top priority for me.
I've already made adjustments and changes in every other aspect of my daily existance due to my current financial situation. Not accepting the need to move to a less desirable area is the last thing I still hold on to, as unrealistic as I know it is.
sigh how does THAT ^^^^^^^ man DO that??!!! He just said in a picture what I WANTED to say.. and beat me to it!
at the bottom of the picture tho.. it DOES say "personal note goes here" so I guess HE can find the picture.. and I will take care of the personal note.
Gray you truly are a fantastic man. We ALL are so lucky to have you in our lives. I been thinking about MAYBE taking a trip out that way this year... and YOU my dear friend are on the list of people to definitely meet! haha now that I look it seems that a couple of people that posted on your blog are also on my list! haha
For me this is the last minute.
Buying it green when it's cheap, and letting it
season in my yard and not theirs. I could have
got it earlier, but was trying to streach my $.
My 'emergency' cord from Sept.wasn't touched
so that should get me into Jan when these will be
seasoned enough to burn decent.
Another good lead panned out, they use Owner Operators
and not Company Drivers .
Tofu by itself, really? Do you marinate it first? This vaguely brings to mind my first encounter with tofu ever, in my dad's kitchen, age 10... "What does it taste like?" "Well, try!" "EW NOTHING."
Your welcome the stories are so wonderful, I love to read and I love history as well.
it's raining here today, and it's a little gloomy but it can't always be sunshine and butterflies
