I'm bummed that I couldn't meet up with you while you were visiting our fair shores but from the pictures and your description it looks like you had a fabulous time!
only SGs and photo crew can go to these trips???? I'm asking because i think it could be great to share with members these spaces to know each other and have funnier hahahahaha
I can learn you some russian vocabulary if you want to.
I'm student in russian language and I find very difficult to memorize the grammar even if I have very good teachers! I can understand that you don't progress as much as you would like mainly if you try to learn by yourself! I can't wait to speak perfectly russian to visit the country.
I didn't read that much of russian literature for the moment, but here are some good books i could advise you:
Nabokov - Lolita
nabokov - Ada or Ardor: a family chronicle
Bulgakov - Heart of a dog
Bulgakov - Master and Margarita
Dostoievski - The House of the Dead
Dostoievski - The Idiot
Dostoievski - Demons
Tolstoi - Anna Karenina
Tolstoi - Resurrection
Turgeniev - First Love
I have to read Soljenitsyne, Chamalov, Grossman and Zamiatine's books for january. I didn't know these writters, so i'll tell you if they're good.
Congratulations about the set of Plum, it was simple but really pretty. I appreciated it
