I wouldn't want to live at the shore. I really don't like the heat during the summer and crowds - and the salt in the air. Although it does smell good. It just makes me itchy.

I love the mountains too - the smell of the woods and the sounds of the birds. There were three different owls singing when I left work today and it made me so happy. I've been absolutely fiending for a weekend in the poconos but the person whose house we would stay at hasn't been well lately and I hate to bug them about the mountain house when they have other things going on.

But I absolutely know that I couldn't live somewhere that isn't close to everything too.

I love World's End. Dan and I used to go there and rent a cabin right on the creek - it was amazing. When we lived in Williamsport it wasn't far away at all. Now it makes me sad how far it it is - but French Creek State Park isn't far and it's very pretty too.
