So I've started to take up an active interest in cross stitching again. lmao I haven't picked one up for about 5 years. I guess absence makes the heart grow fonder. lol Sometimes I feel like such an old woman. I have the weirdest interest in things, but oh well! I made a pattern from a Salvador Dali painting that I've always liked, so it's not boring at all. I don't see how people can do the ones that are borders or all one color. That would drive me nuts. lol

And on another note, I'm going river rafting on the Cherokee River next weekend! WOO! This might be one of the last times that people can raft there because they're going to start building a dam in a few months. So I'm pretty excited about that.

And of course I'm excited about going home the following weekend and seeing my Dawg and family. biggrin biggrin biggrin

Then it's back to the grind. I need to find a jorb and start making that dolla!

Cross stiching and river rafting. An interesting combination of comfort and thrill seeking adventure. One of my mantras in life came from a gentleman that enjoyed frog jumping.

Cross sticking is kinda cool, and you'll have to post a picture of it when finished, esp since it's based on something by Salvador Dali smile

Am really jealous about the rafting thing. On and off, I've been looking at doing some in the US for a while now, just need to raise some funds lol
