1984, just read recently, and I'm reading Brave New World, right now. I'm into Dystopian Lit.
Recipe: I improv'd, so I didn't measure anything, except the base. Equal parts oats to rice. I use brown rice. Cook rice for 45 min with double the water for long grain, or equal for short. It if doesn't cook all the way, it's better. Pour freshly cooked and warm rice into a mixing bowl with any left over water, and mix in the oats. The oats will bond with the rice and make a nice base; glutenous. pretty much go wild on the combos. This instance I chopped carrot and zucchini into 1 cmXcm cubes. minced garlic, and ginger, and then chopped onion that were a little larger than the carrot and zuch. toss in Bragg's liquid aminos to taste, voil Form into a patty, and cook both sides until brown. Bon Apptit.
