This is my favourite set stuck in MR at the moment, in my opinion, it's the best set I've EVER shot for the site and it really, really guts me that is hasn't been picked up for front page :'( (.......yet??) I really don't know what more I could have done, I don't like to blow my own trumpet but I do just really love this set (which is hard when it's your own work, lots of photographers will tell you) but I do just love it. I love her, I love the location, I love the light...it was one of those days when it just works for some reason or no reason at all, it just comes together and creates something you're really proud of. Something we *thought* we were really sure of!
Me and @samanthabentley shot this literally FIRST thing in the morning, bed hair and everything. She's wearing hardly any make-up and she really does just look so gorgeous. This shoot went so much better than I ever could have imagined, she did me a huge favour by agreeing to come shoot with me (having never met before!) with insanely little notice after an SG hadn't turned up and I didn't want the location to go to waste! I had to check out early, so she had to get to me, ready to begin shooting at 8am. I don't know what time she got up or what sort of transport she had to endure at that time in the morning...but ouch, that's dedication. Particularly for someone who wasn't involved in the site at this point!! It didn't, and we shot this beautiful set, but knowing it's still in MR is totally heart-breaking when I feel like it couldn't be more suited to SG! We really don't want to take it down, because we know it belongs here but it's pretty demotivating not getting to show it off on the front page like we had hoped!
I don't want to have to mention it, because it makes even more of a big deal out of it, but it's really refreshing to see a nude set of a girl that doesn't completely shave *down there* as pretty much every set is like that, right? - and that's great too, and a personal choice etc but aren't we here to show variation against the norm? Isn't this stepping just that little bit outside and saying, hey, fuck your beauty conventions, I like some things to be kept natural! Or maybe, just fuck shaving rash haha, I don't know. I just know I think she is a super cool, unique woman who is totally her own person. The perfect SG.
She is an awesome girl and I hate to see people losing the heart for being active on the site when you feel like your sets are underappreciated or maybe even just unnoticed...so basically, if you missed this set, go check it out! Leave some lovely comments to encourage Sam that this *is* the right place for her and we do certainly appreciate her efforts!! But also, maybe with a little more attention the SG Gods might notice the beautiful lady and have her join our SGUK ranks - I would love that.
We just really want to shoot more sets!!!!! and what better outlet than SG.
