its really surprising how jolly that lil' red balloon will make you feel. i'm tempted to change my brithday every day just so i can have it with me always.

i had low key but lovely one. i spent 4 hours at the dmv because i am vain and wanted a new photo on my license. it wasnt too bad though. i used the same trick i do for plane rides which is to load my ipod, alistair, with some comedy routines. that way i can sporadically laugh out loud for seemingly no reason.
also, this dmv is in a mall. a really shitty mall but still. so once i got my number (after 2 hrs in line), i wasted an hour in Macy's buying interview-y clothes. i got a little sidetracked and bought a couple of silly suits. only $60 and i look like a 1950s throwback. perfecto. not for interviews though.

i saw that you are looking for jobs here, i am too! but i am not sure my school prepared me enough so im looking for annnnything. let me know how it goes, im interested in seeing how you put your books together as well - i delved a little bit into designing for publications for a class and i LOVE it
