thank you so much for voting for them multiple times! i'm too embarassed to ever openly admit how many times i voted, though i fully plan to tell my friends the next time i see them. i always try to have something up my sleeve when i see them. usually it's alcohol. once it was a copy of the rollingstone their appeared in almost ten years ago, when the youngest member was baely 15. but i think this might take the cake. i voted an obscene #
again, thank you.
and i really do hope some pictures from mandarin's set go up because i'm not exagerating, it was one of the best sets i've seen. it was so cute and playful.
oh the bush admin... we're going through some trouble in Canada as well, (in my opinion). Somehow, the Conservative leader, Steven Harper was elected and now they're trying to increase tuition costs, (BOO!), and no longer allow gay marriages (double BOO!)
I would rather vote green party, but I can't help but feel that it's a waste of a vote...there isn't enough support behind them for my vote to make a difference. But I swear, I will never vote for anyone who is against gay marriage. Let people live their lives already...why does it matter so much to these people? stupid, huh?
well enough of my rant...thanks for checkin out my set!
hey hey!
thanks for the reply. Yeah, politics really piss me off. It's best I not think about it and just call them pooey. Move on with my day, haha
I wanted to say a personal hello to each and every person that had a nice comment on my set. I figured you were all sweet enough to leave me a comment after taking the time to see my set, so I should do the same. Besides, I'm new to the site so what's wrong with making new friends?
oOoO Sigur Ros! I'm jealous. I would love to see them and Imogen Heap....and Decoder Ring, Flunk, Teddybears Sthlm...yeah lol I love musical groups that have more musical inclination, rather than just screaming into a microphone...although, I love that stuff too!
And I agree, Timeline the movie was horrible. The book...wow, I read it in 3 days. That's all I did for those 3 days. I even read while I made dinner hahaha, but yeah, the movie sucked, quite frankly. But that's true for all books turned to film. Too bad, isn't it?
I'm actually watching the Exercism of Emily Rose at the moment. It's alright. Little creepy, but I like stuff that kinda scares me.
Mulhulland Drive was a great movie. So strange, but so good. I watched it with my Daddy last summer, which was strange because of the lesbian love scene, but we both laughed it off.
I didn't watch the special features because I think my dad and I went to a laundry mat to just before driving back to Manitoba for the summer. Maybe I will rent it one more time to check it out though
tonight, the movie selection is Sorority Boys...funny movie, but not quite as dramatic or interesting as David Lynch's work. Meh, it'll be a fun girls night.
Port Authority = Bad!
