Yay yay! New furnishings! New bathroom! I am envious!
Yes, we share that Chat Noir print in our respective living rooms; I also have a print of "Henri's Goldfish, When He Wasn't at Home" and Warhol's "Sam" ...because I obviously have a healthy feline obsession!
Funny: I was offered a position at the new Chicopee High {the new building is gorgeous: you should see it now}, but I stayed in Springfield instead. I hate the non-contract issue, but I love the kids: total riots and a blast to work with, contrary to how the media portrays inner-city students. Hey, anytime you feel like coming by for a day and checking it out as a possible career option, you are welcome to shadow me. Just let me know. I didn't go into teaching until I was 25 because I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. Eventually I will probably go back to school for social work or adjustment counseling, as I love working with adolescents but never want to become one of those teachers who gets burnt out on the material. Until then, with the exception of the early work day, I love my job.

:I have never eaten at Antonio's although I hear their food is awesome. And if their food is awesome then I say TO HELL WITH THE ROACHES"
you're right, their food is great. and working in a restaurant myself i should understand and take the ostrich in the sand approach. what i don't see there won't affect me.
