I'm a server in a restaurant and I agree, it's very silly to ask that and then just put it in the tea anyway....I don't care for lemon in iced tea and I don't know a lot of people who do either, so I don't even bother to ask them, I just bring it in a dish on the side, I never ever put it on the glass or in the tea, that way if they want it, they can use it, if not, they don't have to....once the lemon is in there, you have to fish it out, or it's sitting on the edge of the glass and it's already infected the tea lol.....I feel your pain sweetie.....miss you, we haven't talked in forever.
