Weathers been pretty wierd but what do you expect for March? When I went to meet Kat and Matt for coffees yesterday it was pissing down but today its blazing sunshine and a little wind. Go figure.
I've been super busy with work this week, or at least busy for me being new into work since having Holly. I was working long shifts Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday because of the Debenhams Mega Week. We at Game were doing ten percent off games and accessories but it was still busy and I was still getting confused about the tils. Get this, we have to work two fricking tills. One for Game and one for Debenhams and somehow we have to make the two bloody things corrospond. It's hell when you've only been selling a week and there's a que of customers out the door and I have a tendency to panic and get stressed about not knowing what I'm doing. Didn't help that at one point my boss left me without keys to the games drawers and as soon as he left a dozen people came to buy things which is just typical. My timing is shite.
I love our techy who comes round every other thursday to show us the latest games that are about to be released before their full trailers even hit the web to get our thoughts and ratings on them. He brings us bent spoons and promotion games and looks like how Flash Gordon would look if he were a real person and not the stupid twit on prime time with Corren from Blood TIes. She's all that makes the new Flash Gorden interesting. It is highly dissapointing being as other medias seemed to get it right.
Nevermind, I got over it and nobodys come back complainging that I got their reciepts wrong so yippee.
I also got a B in my Enlish Language AS Level exam and coursework which has made me happier about going onto the A2 part of the intenseive course.
Also shooting a new set on Tuesday being as me and Faolan will both be free and we can't find another photographer. I have however got a highly better digital camera - can't believe i shot the other sets on a three mega pixel, no wonder they were regected - and improved the lighting situation. It will be kick ass, even if it goes through to hopeful again it would be good to have done it and have it up on the website.
