So it appears that I am done with college. My presentation went well and my portfolio has been handed in. All I do now is wait and if I don't here anything this week my next contact with college is when I turn up on July 9th to pick up my certificate. I'm pretty confident. Unless I've left something out of my portfolio I can't see that my final essay is going to not pass so that should be it.
And then it's on to university
which is both quite scary and incredibly exciting.
I'll only be 10 years late
These last few weeks have been incredibly stressful but I'm glad I've done it. It's been an incredible year and I've met some really wonderful people. If all I end up with from this year is a bunch of new friends then it will have been worth all of the stress regardless of anything else.
I've got a few incredible things lined up for my last summer with regular money. I'm meant to be saving and paying off credit cards and the like but that doesn't sound like fun at all.
The 3rd week in July may become the greatest week in the history of me for all sorts of reasons. All of them related to this lovely site here. The first weekend in August apparently sees me dressing up in sparkly things. The things SGUK get me doing. More people I wouldn't swap for the world there as well.
Actually in top of another incredible night with the lads from my football team I think the biggest thing that I've learned over the last year or 18 months or so is that people are generally pretty awesome. I think I always knew that but it's really been drummer home to me now and I've started to appreciate the times I have with people.
