Flop is having a hard time typing these days , so I'm sending this message to all SGMC members:

Please post events to the "Ride This Weekend" journal until Flop gets the "Events" feature up and running reliably (If we even think it's necessary). This is so that we don't wind up with a bazillion journals lurking around for long-ago rides, and so we can all look in one place to see what's happening. I personally think that it will become a kind of cool history of SGMC if we all post our events and after-event comments in the journal. And "Ride This Weekend" is the perfect title. If I ever write my memoirs, I think I'll use that title

My friend who's been stationed in Germany (USAF Forward recon & Tactical Air Ctrl) will be shipped out soon. Even if you went, they mighta yanked you from there. Good luck. A bro of mine who writes for Newsweek has been shipped there already.

I wish that were my pooch. Each OP along the border is allowed 2 mascot/security dogs. Occasionally one escapes being spayed, and shows up pregnant at the Veterinary Clinic. We get to paly with the puppies for however long it takes to place them; this was one of them.

I hope preparing T-rats won't be too stifling for you!

How is the Springs? It is a cool town, but it kinda sucked for me when I was there, mostly cuz I was in the big Blue Zoo.
