Dear Journal,

I really have nothing exciting to tell you right now. It's still hot out and my AC no longer works. I think there's a freon leak. Can I die from that? I hope not.

I've been rehearsing all day. My fingers hurt. Perhaps I should dip them in my icy beverage? NO! Of couse not. Germs are bad. Mayhaps I should use my 4 string for a bit?

Well, I think that's all the rambling for now. Thanks Journal! You're the bestest! See you in a couple of days. Hopefully people will keep you company with all sorts of sage and funny things. I know you're looking forward to hearing from all those special people (especially that ONE). Ta ta!
