adam_bovary:
Ah memories. I'm reminded of a Steve Martin line: I heard a song that reminded me of the way we were. What was it? "The Way We Were".
richsquared:
Thank you for sharing 😊 ❤️
littlejohn22:
These memories do come around now and again eh
fredhincanada:
@adam_bovary Steve Martin is a comedy genius. 😂
fredhincanada:
@richsquared of course!  Can’t always be sharing just the ups. Sometimes you gotta share the downs.
fredhincanada:
@littlejohn22 They certainly do. They don’t hit as hard these days as they used to.
boozenblood:
Every day is a new day, man!
fredhincanada:
@boozenblood Yep!  I’m already on it. Thank you.
cerebus666:
To quote Sheryl Crow "Every day is a winding road ... 🎵🎶" !
wizard0:
You are the sum total of your life experiences.  Without them, you wouldn't be you.
fredhincanada:
@cerebus666 It sure is. If it makes you happy, it can’t be that bad.
fredhincanada:
@wizard0 this is true. I could still have done without some of the really bad parts.
cerebus666:
@fredhincanada Sheryl is a wise woman 👍👏!
fredhincanada:
@cerebus666 indeed.
bitterashell:
I’m sorry your difficult times have come back on you. I hope your good memories are coming through as well and  outweighing the rough ones. If it helps you make this a better place and I’m glad to have met you. Take care my friend.
bradmax:
Going through The Shit, no matter how many time you’ve done so to date, it is always helpful (to me, at any road) to look where I am Today and know I have come through it all still standing. As well, I also allow the emotion of memories recalled take their course with that same knowledge in mind. Hopefully, today finds you in a better headspace, my friend.
fredhincanada:
@bitterashell I sometimes just stay in despair until it lifts on it's own accord.  I was good by the following morning.  We gotta have the downs to enjoy the ups, right?  Lol.  And thank you for your kindness.  I'm glad to have met you, too.
fredhincanada:
@bradmax I do the same thing.  Sort of like the "Litany Against Fear," I just let it come at me and then I step out the other side when it's done.  I was good by the next morning.  Thank you for your kindness and advice.  I appreciate you.
