Thinking about my past tonight.

I'm feeling melancholic and heartsore this evening as I think about my past failures and loss. Jon Bon Jovi's "Destination Anywhere" album is playing in the background (one of the best albums ever made) and the song "Staring at your Window with a Suitcase in my Hand" hit just right and took me on a ride down memories I don't normally dredge up these days. Even though my mood is dour and despondent, one can't deny the romantic beauty of this break up song.

@bitterashell I sometimes just stay in despair until it lifts on it's own accord.  I was good by the following morning.  We gotta have the downs to enjoy the ups, right?  Lol.  And thank you for your kindness.  I'm glad to have met you, too.

@bradmax I do the same thing.  Sort of like the "Litany Against Fear," I just let it come at me and then I step out the other side when it's done.  I was good by the next morning.  Thank you for your kindness and advice.  I appreciate you.
