Well, I have a job now. Starting Tuesday I'll be the guy replacing and maintaining the annoying ads you see over urinals in bathrooms. Now, it doesn't sound like the greatest job but the pay is good, the hours are a little flexible and I get a car and phone allowance. Plus, it's a fucking job and that's a nice change.

I've been in a pretty good mood this week as a result.

I've been watching Planet Earth all week. Cannibal monkeys are terrifying. Brain controlling ant fungus is terrifying. Watching lions swarm an elephant is insane. The world is a weird and wonderful place.

Having read a bunch of the threads in CE and having watched some of the speeches from the DNC I still can't wrap my head around the fact that people think available, affordable health care is a bad idea. Don't get me wrong, things here in Canada aren't perfect. I hate waiting four hours at the hospital to get an aspirin as much as the next guy but I like that a couple of headache pills don't cost me $800...

I should probably have some breakfast now. And maybe get a bit more sleep. Staying up until 2 working at a gaming cafe wears you out pretty quick.
