oh christmas shopping, i think ill spend late nights on the net again ordering loads of stuff people seem to like. sometimes i just wonder. im tryin to get back into wakin up early and workin out, but its so warm in bed.....
Hey, did you get a flat tire today. i saw a girl just like you in a 65' with a busted up front tire. i was comming around to help, but that lil ' o AAA pick up came right behind an saved the day.
if it wasnt , its still a good story, right.
i was just trippin , it was 65-66 futura ( boxy like yours) she looked kindalike you do in your pixx's hard to tell driving by.
she looked pretty livid. anyway, i thought thats weird, i "chat" withsomeone once and then bammm i know her by her car. im such a car geek.( drools)
yes i would help you, i tend to do that, when i see old car problems. there just easy to fix.
64 falcon futura with the straight six--i think it was 170 c.i. four doors, three on the tree (manual sucked when you had a girl cuddled up next to you!). it was green-blue that had a specific name that i can't remember. i paid $65 for it in 1973 (no rust), and about the only thing i put into it was a $50 transmission. ah, those were the days.
of the 15 cars i've owned, the falcon is the only one i don't have a picture of. two years ago, though, i saw one parked a few blocks away--same model, same color, everything. so i scurried home and got my camera. if i can find those pics, i'll post 'em.
a friend has a fully restored 64 ragtop. two door, candy apple red with a white convertible top. nummy....
sharing first cars, sharing ELO on vinyl...but for the fact you're 18 years younger, i'd say we were separated at birth. or maybe we're destined to meet and fall in love.
Oh, i know exactly what you mean! yeah that couldnt have been you. this was a beige, and was a futura but big like a valiant, boxy but with nice curves along the grill.....
you have 8 right?
hehe noon is early for me too. but i work nights...
*sigh* christmas presents. i worked a second job and saved up a whole bunch for christmas last year, but this year i'm just so broke. i think i'll try my hand at baking. everyone likes getting cookies and pies for christmas right?
sorry I'm such a lagger on responding lately. But I got to hang out with my friends and party with them on Holloween so that was totally kickass. Adn no I haven't seen the girl I met before I left. We've chatted online and we even talked on the phone alot while I was in Cali. But we should be hanging out on Sat. so it should be cool
Thinking about Christmas, ARRRGGH! Too soon and yet, knowing myself, not soon enough. What I really need is to wake up, think I have only 3 days to go till Christams, run around and get everything done, but have it really be Thanksgiving instead. Call it a variation on the setting your clock back an hour syndrome!
OH oh! The hotel where they filmed the shining is about 45 minutes away from here. I have no idea why I've never visited it... but it'd probably be not quite all that exciting. Still standing. A great place for weddings, apparently. And a fine line between clever and creepy.
I went bowling last night, in a perfectly normal bowling alley. I think if you combine the scores from all of my games, I might have broken 100... but I'm not sure. I wasn't on any drugs though, so I never actually found myself INSIDE the bowling ball. Ahh, I love that movie.
