Three things I learned listening to 45 minutes of MPR (Minnesota Public Radio) today.
1) According to the morning market report exploring the growing wealth disparity in the U.S: Poor people are poor because they haven't learned not to hit and not to interrupt
2) On a story looking at why democrats live in urban areas and republicans live in outer ring suburban areas, Mike Beyer mayor of outer ring MN suburb Rockford explained it this way: "Because you have your space," Beyer says. "You're not part of an apartment complex, which is a communal area. Communal to me is social, and social goes to socialism. But here, it's your space, your time, your business, and that's generally conservative people." In short, apartments = socialism and democrats hate space and therefore are socialists.
3) And in an interview with a country star Rocky something or another said that country music is American Blues Music. This leaves me with a gaping question: Where does that leaves blues music. I always assumed American Blues is American Blues. But now I have to reassess...
