New Years Eve...last day of a year that has seemed to be filled with more stress than normal for me. Time to move on from another failed relationship, lost friendships, and goals I had set for myself yet never met. 2012 wasn't all bad though, I finally switched my major back to film/radio and am on track to a career i will truly enjoy. I am also finally getting back in shape after years of dealing with a back injury and I feel great....just got to quit smoking now so I can prepare for the Warrior Dash and Spartan Race later next year.
Another thing, why must everyone wait to make positive steps in their life until the first of the year? I saw that I had lost almost 50lbs. of muscle in almost 3 years and got myself back in the gym. I wasn't happy with what I was going to college to do so I changed my major to meet my passion. I wasn't happy with my ex so I broke up with her. All you do by waiting to make New Years resolutions is procrastinate. Why wait when you can start at that moment? The longer you wait the less likely you are to see it through.
That aside I am not looking forward to the crowded gyms these next couple months....oh well, most of them will stop going by march and things will be back to normal.
Have a Happy New Year and please stay safe and don't drink and drive.
One night of fun is not worth your life or the life of someone else.
