Not sure what karma is trying to tell me with this. . .
On Tuesday on the way to our first site, we stopped at a gas station and I had to use the washroom. To be nice, I decided to buy something but felt bad breaking a $20 for a pack of gum so grabbed a lottery ticket as well.
Ended up winning $10 on it.
The next day I randomly picked a place for lunch as we were driving by based purely on the name. The Kung-Fu Bistro in Stittsville. Turned out to be a great stop. Mostly organic, additive-free really good Chinese food. When the bill came, it was way too low. The waitress had listed my order as 2.95 instead of the 12.95 it was supposed to be. I pointed it out and paid the right amount. But once again, the universe was trying to give me $10.
It was just a really weird co-incidence I guess.
In other news, I'm really getting sick (no pun intended) of doctor appointments.
