Don't you hate it when the stars converge and your hair comes out the wrong color? I was just going to redo my roots, but my locks were looking uneven and, frankly, a smidge too yellow for my tastes, so I figured, oh, well I'll just get a nice toning color in something of a light champagne and have pretty (albeit normal) hair. Easy.

But instead, I've ended up with a light caramel brown that reminds me of how the wee little popstars color their hair if they don't have the guts to commit to Glorious Blonde. It's pretty on me but about as non-hipster-alternative-SG chick as could be. So I figured, hell, go with this youthfully boring thing, and so I put my hair up in rollers (something that I'm monumentally bad at) for that oh-so-2002 wavy effect. I give it two weeks, tops, before I return to my packets of Ultra Blue, begging forgiveness, prostrate upon the altar of Blonde.
