betrayal:
Where I used to live there was a nest of Harvestmen spiders (the really spinderly daddy long leg looking spiders - eeeek!!) that lived up the bathroom vent, whenever it got hot in there they used to come out, fucking 20 at a time, huge ones!! I'm not kidding they used to scare the shit out of me as they would creep out the bathroom all over the house. We used to spray the vent with cockroach killer (cockroach killer disintergrates spiders legs) so when it would get hot and steamy again the spiders would come out....with wonky legs!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!

I hate spiders but not as much as I hate daddy long legs. eeek eeek eeek eeek
agentblack:
Maybe they're taking over?

All Hail Our Arachnid Overlords!
charley:
No I have noticed that too, I have been seeing them in my house and there are never spiders in here....centipedes on my bed yes but spiders no surreal

lilyk:
spiders, ick. i don't mind catching them or killing them but i hate the thought of them being where i cannot see them....
missredcherry:
I dont like spiders but thankfully I have cats you like to eat them and it is quite amusing to watch. As much as I hat spiders I hate flying ants more. they really make me cringe.

Apart from spiders, how have you been?
dotty:
Just saw photos of you looking rather gorgeous! love Your new hair really does suit you. kiss
underachiever:
Has Jim been watching or reading alot of Spider-man????

Make sure he doesn't put them in the microwave, he can get some crazy ideas! biggrin
violenthalo:
some bloody customer at work actually brought over a spider he found in the bananas it was huge and im pretty sure it had fangs eeek
teela:

teela:
good gravy! small world indeed! several of my good friends live there, though it's been a while since i've been there. fab! living in camberwell now which is usefully central yet usefully south. hurrah!

definitely hope to come to some meets but still have to wait to be accepted for SGUK and it seems that's the only place the meets are advertised. i can wait though smile
teela:
oh cool, thanks! i don't really know how the approval process works but i've seen a lot of people mentioning waiting so i guess that is a key part of the SGUK experience eh? are there still regular meets? the whole Real Life Counts bit is one of the things i love about SG!
mck:
Cuz I got bored!
mck:
You can be busy AND bored. smile
betrayal:
This is the first time I went to the Family Business - its in Exmouth Market (I think) in Clerkenwell (10 minute walk from Farringdon). Saira done the tattoo, she has some awesome artwork. The reason I went to her is she used to work at the other tattooists that I go to which is Frith Street tattoo on er, Frith Street, Soho - a few doors down from Garlic and Shots. Nikole does my tattoos there. I'm really into getting women tattooists as before Nikole I had only met one girl tattooist ever!

Are you planning anything else? When are you getting your gun coloured?

kiss
lilyk:
that spiders in the mouth in your sleep thing is what i was thinking of puke
agentblack:
It won't be too bad. No flys to bother you on a summers day.

And the Grand National would be so much better on giant spiders instead of horses.
charley:
I WAS IN BED!!! I was typing away on my computer and looked down next tome and there he was happily sitting there eeek I wasn't impressed, I had to get him on a piece of paper and chuck him out the window. Then I couldn't sleep because I thought maybe he had some family or friends waiting to sneak up on me and avenge his death....or something tongue
avenel:
There seem to be about 10 times as many spiders as normal in my house. Theres one that spins it's web across our front door and it gets broken every day when i leave the house to go to work. I feel mean for ruinging all thier hard work
teela:
ta for vouching, i am IN! hurrah!

on a side note i am currently in love with your pic of you on an extremely white background, is that for something pro? it's amazing photography and your eye makeup in it has me mesmerised! tres cool
dotty:
Bobby cursed our flat with his comment about moths. Since then we have had SO many fluttering around while I'm trying to watch TV, or read my book, or cook. I threw the tea towel into a pan filled with water and carrots in an attempt to whip one that was flying in my face. eeek Bloody bugs!

And my weekend was all domesticated, all I did was work or cook or tidy up or sleep. Fun!
But I did just take Bobby to the cinema to celebrate him getting a new job! Hurrah! biggrin

kiss x
johnnyforeigner:
We get huge spiders here. Seriously, there like 8-legged horses eeek

Thanks for the happy birthday. AND STOP LOOKING AT PORN AT WORK eeek wink
dem_z:
Thanks very much for your kind words in my journal. I've found all the nice things that people have said have really helped me.

I have no solution to the spider menace. Be glad they're not cockroaches:- terrifying Japanese cockroach invasion video. eeek eeek eeek
missredcherry:
more spiders have been consumed.
I have 2 cats a boy and a girl, Elvis and Morticia.
Yeah, they are indoor cats. It is impossible to find a flat in London with outdoor space frown

they seem quite happy with their toys and scratching post.

How was the wedding? I was bridesmaid at my sisters a few weeks back. Let me tell you, I am never doing that again!

How have you been?
