I'm so excited ^_^ If all goes well, and the weather cooperates, I'll likely be taking the pics for the initial SG hopefull aplication on Monday ^_^ and even cooler I've actually got a photographer or two who is interested in shooting my hopeful set once I get to that part ^_^
I can't wait to bare it all for my first hopeful set, but I'm still so nervous
Even though I've been known to flash ex-roomates and a webcam or two in my day, I've never actually stripped down in front of anyone with a camera other than my husband when I felt like pretending to do a set for SG.
I'm so tempted to ask one of my close friends if we could do a practice shoot, but I'm not sure she would go for it just because she seems as shy about it as I am
Ugh, speaking of shy and such, Eck. I had a dream the other night that I had taken pics for SG (though with a bit less taste than SG) and that I had them in a folder and my mom found them and freaked out
Was really disturbing really because I have no intention of telling my mom my SG intentions until it's too late for her to try to guilt trip me out of it. Kind of like how I did with my tattoo 
I've found out that it seems to work alot better that way when it comes to me doing things she doesn't quite agree with. She's kind of old fashioned when it comes to nudity.What's going to be fun is trying to explain to her that SG is not pornography, at least the way I see it.

Pornography, the way I see it, typically involves raunchy sex, anatomy lessons, and is rather like a rated XXX version tetris when it comes to what can fit where. Not that I don't enjoy watching a raunchy X rated tetris game once in a while. But it's something I would never even think of involving myself in.
SG on the other hand, is a pinup site. It's artistic, it's beautiful, it's empowering, and it's about as tasteful as you can get with sexy peirced/tattooed naked women. It challenges the limits and redefines the conventional perceptions of beauty because it's more focused on what the girls themselves think is sexy, rather than the ideas of some creepy middle aged man. SG's show more a sense of Self Esteem and Self Respect instead of the submission that is generally portrayed in your run-of-the-mill pornography. Looking through their sets you can almost hear them saying "Look at me! I am Beautiful, Sexy, and Unique! I don't need your Approval, but I demand your Respect!"
