When I wrote my thesis in college, I wasn't done with it until 3 hours before it was due. That doesn't seem particularly appropriate, but I assure you, it can be done.
My advice for the post-college job - don't put too much pressure on yourself. In fact, I suggest just going to a temp agency. I staunchly refused that at first, but after 6 weeks, I sucked it up. The first interview they sent me on happened to be for someone that was looking for a "permanent" employee, only they worked through a temp agency first to give a sort of trial period. I did the trial period, and worked there for the next year-plus before I started law school. It can work out that way. And if it doesn't, it's at least money to keep you occupied until you can find something else.
You'll probably think I'm lame but I like your haircut in your most recent album
Personally, I'm fond of the super short haircut, so I'd be in favor of that as well.
I agree with Miss Tyrios about trying a temp agency. I worked in a video store and a pet store for two years after I graduated and it gave me time to ease myself into the working world. The jobs weren't too demanding, made me a little $$$ (very little but enough to get by) and allowed me to have some fun. By the time I got a "real job" I was ready for it - I've worked at the Bank for ten years.
You should get your septum pierced
it is fun
