"Brah" is a word used by guys that love the flick Shawshank Redemption, have tragically lame "Tribal" tattoos, wear shorts and sandals at all times, and keep both Britney Spears and Hillary Duff in business.
Last year I was the Hulk. We usually have the anual Halloween Scaraoke, which draws a huge number of freaks to sing in costume. But this year there is none planned, so I do not know if I will go out of my way for a costume.
The thing that makes Futurama so great, is that in Space, pretty much anything is possible, so there is ample room to match the absurd sense of humor of the Simpsons people.
I hear they are bringing the show back to the air, based on DVD sales, which would be nice.

I hear you. Last year, I had a 2 hour meeting in Ang Lee's office with two Focus Features Execs, and it was clear from the detail of the meeting that they had really put time into watching what I'd sent them. We went over it moment by moment. And I left very excited. Nothing came of it.
We also had a group of fans at HBO who would cc Bob Conte, basically THE MAN at HBO, on all of their rave emails about us. Nothing came of that either.
So I've learned that that's just the way it goes and not to worry about that stuff. When it catches, it catches. Just keep working on what's next and make sure you're happy creating what your creating.
