I hear ya. I got into the army just in time it seems. Most of the people I know are just trying to hold on while im out of debt for the first time in my life. I can relate to being away from the family too. I have seen my kids for a total of a month in the last 2 years. Its pretty rough. But hey, good luck man...keep the nose to the grindstone.

I was actually born and raised in Ukiah, Ca so for me its going home...but yes you are right its is beautiful up there...I get home sick often but refuse to move back because of the lack of opportunity up there....so for now I will settle for my short visits
