and i went to the opticians this morning as well and ordered some more of my pacific bleu contact lenses as they are $10 cheaper a pair here then in london and i'm getting 6 pairs!

That stinks about your glasses, sweetie. I'm glad you got it all fixed up though. It's sad when someone has an opportunity to be decent and opts for mean instead. I get over these moments by applying Asshole Rule I: everyone is an asshole at some point or another and I may be catching this person at his/her predestined Asshole moment.
Although I feel pain that you had to put up with some of the same shit I did during HS, I can't say it isn't nice to meet someone who understands. Thank you for sharing that with me. *hug*
