went to see the doctor today due to my lower ab pain and resulting digestive issues. he wants me to have a CT scan on saturday which i am doing. i am a little worried, but my mom who normally worries much more than anyone on earth seems to be pretty calm about things and was reassuring. no family history of cancer in this area is a good start.
and of course this pain has to come during the week of my 2nd and final audition at Blackbird, which is tomorrow. i'll have to play through the pain and hopefully won't have to hit the bathroom as much as i did this morning. the thought of being out of my current comfort zone (home) for 15-16 hours tomorrow is a bit unnverving. can't impress the chef from the employee bathroom that's for sure.
and then there is the thought of driving to colorado with my dad which would be sunday if 1) i am still unemployed 2) am hired but will let me start on the 23rd 3) feeling well enough to sit in a car for hours on end.
this sucks. really really sucks.
