we've never had the real deal, til' last night. the stuff we bought, via bevmo, is Absinthe, but it is made with a different type of wormwood...
the czech stuff is what my friend brought back from europe, is teal in colour and doesn't get milky when you dialute it. wow, it was good...but whoa strong.
the pastis is basically an anise liquor.
