Wow, it feels like I haven't written for entirely too long but I had a good reason for being away.

So, my ex (who no longer happens to be my ex but my current, rather) has a male friend who she's known forever come out and vacation with her for a week. And I, of course, end up being the San Diego tour guide. I had a blast. Spending time around town just reinforced my feeling that this is the greatest city out there. Well, this dude is from New York and hadn't even SEEN a palm tree before, so you KNOW he had a good time.

Well, I'm off to the gym, then some housekeeping (ugh, laundry), then to practice on my new guitar (yay!), and then I think I'll hit the beach and catch a couple of choice waves. Ha ha, see you later suckers! JK
