Yay! I went out on the courts (tennis courts that is) for the first time today in years... and I hate to admit it, but it was like falling in love all over again! I was practically born with a raquet in my hand... one of my youngest baby pictures is of me in a little tennis dress and bonnet with a tennis raquet rattle... I've played since I was 5 years old and haven't played in the last 4 years... and it was GREAT! I forgot just how fun it was- and it all came back to me so fast- I even got invited to play in a "special" league Friday nights! Does this make me a dork? I hope not! I really wish there were more younger people that played, because everyone out there today was 45+! Doesn't make much for the competition! Not to mention the cost of indoor courts nowadays- my god! I need to find somewhere cheap to play indoors... and people more my age... anyone know of anyone or anyplace???
