Work was rediculous.
I mean, it was a fine day and all -- but I was on another planet somewhere. I am so tired that I'm starting to get dizzy spells and cathing things moving in the corner of my eye... just momentary distractions though, not full out hallucinations.
Anyhow -- after a brief introduction with one Barry M. (who is a pretty desperate and crazy guy), I couldn't really help him get his music out. I hate turning people down, I really do -- so I stuck around for a bit to hear a little more of his story and give him a few ideas about what he could do.
Man that sucks.
Anyway, things are going well with my little indie label for a change. A new band is on the horizon that could go places -- just gotta hope I won't be "paying more dues" with them. It's a really happening 3-piece all-girl band called "Dance Yourself to Death." It's really good stuff -- the guitarist, Nina, is an incredible player.
So yeah.. as always, lots on the go. New website, small business, work, novel, song writing, illustrating, some modicum of social life... I sometimes wonder what the hell is holding it all together.
