- not an illegal activity (like the cokeheads group)
- it's about expression (different from of expression than the site, but expression nonetheless)
- it's a fucking game (like football [college football group] except we don't try to hurt the other participants)
- it has a mythological basis and has many books based on the material (at least WOD)
- not the same as RPG or video games
- promotes social interaction

I would ask them why they denied it and see if they will assist you in trieing to get it approved.

I think that if you are interested in running a game it wouls be easier over a medium such as MIRC with a mailing list support, if you just want to speak about LARP's in general than the group will do fine. Find out who is really interested if there seems to be enough, create a channel on MIRC and a yahoo group. Make sure you have your "house rules" available to all and what character creation is going to be like...enhanced or straight out of the book etc.

One of the reason your group was denied may be because there is already a PNP RPG group, and LARPS are a big part of the discussion. I noticed you are not a member. You should join, I bet you'll find what you're looking for.
